A little lighter powder charge, put in a wad or gas check, add 100-150 grains of small lead shot, then crimp on a 160 grain 45acp Bullet. Great for snakes. The light Bullet goes straight, the shot swirls wildly, but effective at 10’ and under. The gas check always seemed to hit at 7 o’clock.
I always carried one or two to fire first, then 4 ( or 3, in a 5 shot) full 300 grain loads. If you need to advance it, lift the loading gate, rotate two chambers and shoot
