It just a little glass and time. The challenge. I like fixing cracks and mending. Roman’s M44 Russian was literally broken in half in an ATV accident. It’s bolted and glued back, color blended. It won’t break there again. These days airplanes and cars (I know Camaros are) are literally glued together with modern adhesives!
The “free” $200 .270 isn’t worth the new stock. A dallop of glass fixed it. Hope to shoot it this week. Doug’s Winchester is valuable but restocking or refinishing both stock pieces would dip into profits deeply. If I can repair and blend it will save a bunch. You’ll see.
