Bedding An SKS?

Long, long ago (Pre-Clinton Ban) I bought a ratty ole SKS in one of those black plastic after-market stocks. I shot it a few times & then put it away. I recently took it out & shot it at paper for the first time. Very inconsistent with vertical stringing. There is vertical slop between the action & the stock towards the rear of the action. I'm guessing about 1/8" to 3/16". Probably some side to side play, but not as noticeable. I glass bed a bolt action rifle once & that was fairly straight forward process. Not sure how to address the SKS due to the lack of action screws to secure the action to the stock. (Trigger group snaps into place with action & sandwiches the stock between them)

Anyone have any suggestions on how to approach this?
