That is one of the most beautiful examples of any firearm I've ever seen. A joy just to behold in simple image.

I am happy I finally got the money and courage both together at the same time (finally) and dove into my first real Colt Single Action. It's taken over half a century. 2020 seems like a good time for it.

Two strikes against my purchase; it's a .32 WCF, the most common caliber offered, and a Bisley. The black sheep of SAA aficionados. But I like them both no matter, happy as a clam. History buffs know that the .32-20 was likely more prolific in the West than many realize. Both SAA and 1873 were rife in the caliber. Half a box of rounds don't unduly weigh down a pocket either. Darling of the shooting range, accurate and unobtrusive blast. I can shoot two for one, lead and powder.

I know my first foray is not that desirable or sexy but it seems fitting for me. Looking forward to the project in large. I can't wait.
