I know where it is. I have the stuff. I also need to order a 12 ga. forend for my .500 Nitro project. Need to re-drill/tap the barrel for the bigger screws, find a steel Weaver type Encore base, adjust the timing of the extractor (it's funny on my frames - won't open far enough), and get a new hinge pin. lol

I plan to sort of leave it alone this time. Just mount a red dot on it and call it good. I'm thinking mainly using Trail Boss and that 500 gr. LEE plain base bullet. It runs fast as a .45-70 and is easier to keep your dentures in place.

On that No. 1 450 Nitro #2 I can't figure what J.D. was thinking not putting any provision for optics at all. But it has good irons. You need to shoot it, then sell for a profit.
