It's so prevalent in gun articles. Not just "gun writers" but also in every day posts.

JT and I just exchanged opinions about a gun writer that puts tremendous amounts of research and effort into his articles. BTW, the exchange was both agreeing.

WB and I both get bashed on here often. I learned to live with it years ago. But, we get off the couch and actually try things to see if it works. To me this is still better than theorizing from a desk.

Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong. But, it seems to me that a bullet at any given velocity would dwell in a 20" barrel four times as long as a 5" barrel, discounting acceleration.

This simply gives the 20" barrel four times the time to rise as a 5" barrel. It also provides four times as as long for human error to insert itself.

So, I guess I have to agree with the article and Amede too.
