My goodness what ignorant folks walk in on a daily basis. I was just listening. Not that I feel superior, but some folks just don't need to talk. lol My opinion, I think many would have argreed. It think it would be difficult to work in a gun store right now. Women operators seem to handle it better.

Ammo stocks way down at this guys's place. He didn't or couldn't plan ahead as much as some did. He does have some stock trickling in. He and his wife are there running things. He does a little gunsmithing, simple things. I asked him about drilling and tapping a few holes on a flat surface for me. He grumped (refused the idea) that he'd have to buy a jig. I wondered why he didn't ALREADY have several!? HE could make some quick easy money, $25+ a hole. I went in to get my CCL renewed. He made me shoot 5 rounds at 10 paces (reduced now since ammo is scarce) with a semi to proof qualify. Not allowed to pick up my own brass. Charged me $30 (specified cash - no receipt) which took all of maybe 10 minutes. He needs to get busy there, fast easy money, I'd say. Do some classes with minimal live fire.

Gun deer season is over. Everyone is complaining about no Duck shotshells.
