I'm been trimming about 10-15 thousandths at a time and testing in between. This last time I expected to have it but its half a 8" paper plate low. At least 4" to go.
My 1873 .44-40 has exactly the opposite problem. Shoots a mile high and no adjustment. I plan on making a glue on "over sight" front for it. I have an idea.
