but there was an article listed citing the "SLP" bullet mould. One fellow thought he remembered that you cast the nose soft, then inserted it into the other mould and poured a base onto it.

Maybe... the funny nose mould I have does seem to look like it might copy that mould profile. And I guess the configuration of the appendage out the rear might lock it on when you try to cast the base. I do know I had a devil of aa time trying to "double pour" in a conventional mould. The lead would separate, not blend. Until I heated and melted the lead while in the mould with a torch.

Bottom line is you might want this mould I have to complete the set! If it is what I think it might be it would be a very special set for casting.
