I have already gotten tired of .45 to 65 cent a piece bullets just to deer hunt and shoot. So I got some nice cast .220 gr gc .359 hp bullets. Have not had much time or interest yet to mess with them much, but that is getting better. I miss my son. Anyway. I have heat treated some of them and put good lube on them plus some paste wax alox on the nose. Now I just need better shooting weather.
MY only real attempt with them was a one holer at 50 yards as they came . When the weather breaks I will trying to get them to be accurate and fast enough for about 250 yards. After heat treating them I will come back and anneal the nose into soft points. I am serious about my cast bullets. It will be fun
