It's more efficient with the intended range of bullet weights and suitable powders and can easily be loaded with .358 pistol bullets for target practice. It makes a fantastic handgun hunting round in a single shot, with or without a rim on the case. I make .356 Win. cases by FL running .444 Marlin through a .358 Win. die, the case is just a rimmed .358.

The RCBS 200 gr. FNGC is fantastic.
