Wouldn’t go to the trouble of cooking it. I have had squirrels, coons, and nutria and all were good. My personal belief is that the squirrel is God’s greatest accomplishment as far as table fare goes. I’ve never seen a muskrat that I know of. I draw my line at possum. I remember my granddaddy eating them but mamaw wouldn’t and she didn’t let us kids either.
