As they were made to emulate centerfire versions. There is no way Colt was able to compete will Ruger's Single-Six .22. I have one of the new Heritage 16" .22 single actions with a rifle butt stock. I am thinking about trying to make one using a Ruger Single-Six. It would require a custom barrel and a butt stock like the Heritage has.
