The .22 WMR CCI shotshells are the most effective I've used. They have bigger pellets than "dust" of the old crimped rat shot. And quite a number of them.

I have two sets of barrels to make it more economical, LR and WMR. It needs a set of grips though. I've read some guys just leave the grips off to have it even more narrow.
