shotshell .410 someplace. Berdan primed though. Not sure if it is aluminum or steel, I don't think they are brass. The end cap was see-through plastic. I bought a bunch of those .410 AK's many years ago. They really did a number on Winchester AA hulls. No way you could reload those fired in the AK's. My skeet shooting buddies would have cried. Golly to have them back, they were cheap! So were AK's and SKS (Surplus $60 each in the cosmoline!).
I'm fortunate to have experienced the surplus firearm influx back in the 1980's. It was not quite as good as post war pre-68 but I'll take it.
