anchorage or Wasilla about 440 odd miles by road [ go past chicken , to ' boundary' the site of an old road house ] go down the mountain to the stream, and then the off road part starts. right at 25 miles of trail. you go up and down 5 steep mountains, cross 3 more creeks, and then the trail ends at Liberty Creek, at our claim. we have a square mile, which is strung out along the creek for about 1.7 miles. its a beautiful trip in [ if it isn't sleeting, raining, and snowing and blowing sideways etc. our side by side has a hard top, windshield, heater, windshield wipers, and doors ] and its beautiful along Liberty creek. we have had wolves come through the camp [ last summer, 3 were chasing a caribou through camp ] there are grayling in the creek.
We feel blessed to be able to enjoy that place.
