mask tests I had 5" goatee- and the others with beards were masked then they sprayed stuff-- do not remember what around the outside of the masks if you gaged you shaved if not you were good to keep it till next time. As for masks they only work against larger particulates-- even the n95 it is .003? any way too small will still come through and N95 are hard to breath in -- to be safe you'd need closed 02 system -- then you would have to doff it properly or you self contaminate
