but my grandfather and I were definitely thinking we needed a bigger boat.

We were about 10 miles from where we launched and that distance only seemed twice as far with a fish that size lashed to side of boat. We were about 100yds off the tip of a barrier island where snowbirds were playing in the surf, which playing somehow strangely ended when they saw what we were fighting.
