More than the movie, what disabused me of swimming

offshore, despite a lifetime of doing so, was my first low flight down the beaches and seeing the enormous numbers of sharks schooling amidst the happy swimmers, many of those sharks being quite large. I started to rate swimming at saltwater beaches about the same as motorcycling while drunk at about that time.
