is considerably under .450". I forget what pin gauge fits but it's astonishingly smaller. The bullet being forced into the bore (hopefully straight as you mentioned) upsets pretty readily to be filled to the max. I bet it shoots good as long as your throats are not mashing it too small before it gets there.
The proof is in the shooting, not looks or thousandths. They look great.
