of his books several times and I am not disputing your story but I sure don't remember it. And even if true that doesn't make it something anyone with half a brain would try to do.

Situations like that are like the one of the old Eskimo lady that killed a record book polar bear with a 22 LR as he stuck his head into her igloo or whatever type dwelling she was in. She shot him in the eye and killed him, one shot.

For that matter I killed a huge Cape Buffalo a few months ago with a 45 Long Colt, 2 shots, but the first would have killed him within a few more minutes. But again that doesn't mean I would try it again or I would ask any sane person to do it.

Things happen on the spur of the moment that only an idiot would try to do again.
