now Capstick is a different monkey. All his tales

were "borrowed" from the writers that actually did them. So if it was in a Capstick book I wouldn't know about it. I would rather read "The liberals Book on Changing the World" than read a Capstick book. Years ago (1992 or so) before I went to Africa I believed the stuff Capstick wrote (I actually read Death in the Long Grass). Then after my first couple of safaris in Africa I realized Capstick was full of it. I was big into Africa and bought every African hunting book I could find, mostly John Pondoro Taylor, Ruark, J.A. Hunter and one or two others. Then reading Capstick where he said those things happened to him, I realized I had read that same tale in a book written by African professional hunters and writers 25 years earlier. His tales were actually things that had happened to others and he just "borrowed" them.
