we had the old pull down target stands and we all took turns pulling targets. When my buddies were pulling my targets I flipped the selector on Auto and dumped a 20 round magazine along the bank on both sides. Actually got a few hot bullets to land on a couple of them (after bouncing around and losing velocity). No one was seriously injured but I got into real trouble with the Range Officer.

I liked the M14 much better than the M16 and have thought now and then about buying one. I put it off long enough that now it would clean my piggybank to do so.
