They bitched that Ruger hadn't built the 1895 yet until the 1895 was introduced. Then they bitched about the price. Now they are bitching about the new model 336 and whining that Ruger should make it available for under $500. In the news release about the 1894 the announcement said it would be available for less than $1000. That just set the whiners off again. I noticed this morning that the whiners are bitching that Ruger should have put the 38/37 model 1894 first. Ruger is smart. They know the 1894 will be mainly a hunting rifle and the 44 Magnum fits that little nitch perfectly. The 38/357 is a great little rifle but for hunting larger game the 44 magnum brings home the bacon.
When the news release mentioned the 1894 in 44 Magnum the whiners went at it again with "now maybe the ammo manufacturers will get off their butts and make the 44 Magnum ammo affordable again".
You just can't please them all.
