I've been looking for one of these since they announced Marlin was out of business. Used versions are hard to find and everyone wants to retire with the proceeds since word got around that someone's initials on the barrel makes them as rare as platinum hen's teeth. If Marlin starts making a 38/357 version I stand a better chance of finding one either new or possibly a used one at a better price. I'm in the same boat as John W on here with a small supply of large pistol primers but and adequate supply of small pistol primers and see them for sale regularly. Simply a matter of wanting to shoot more levergun more often. If I hunt with one I will just get close enough to make it effective on game and it doesn't take a .44 to do it.
