David and Goliath were talking smack to each other, and he enticed Goliath to advance toward him, while David actually charged toward the giant! An even more bold move on his part. Obviously the brazen mammoth was locked onto his insignificant aggressor and likely made a straight b-line. This, with the closing distance, made the killing shot even more effective! It's a fascinating account.
