The 9mm cyl. for my Ruger and the .40 cal. cylinders get a lot of use. It's cheaper to shoot that ammo plinking. I have a .38-40 cyl. for my .401 Herters, that makes sense. The Super RH has .429 and .44 Mag cylinders too. The .300 GNR does fantastic with an extra .327 Federal cylinder. It's worth the expense to me with the huge versatility. I have a .44-40 for a SBH .44. I do have a Vaquero .45 Colt I'd like a .45 ACP cylinder for, but truthfully I'd probably not use that one much.
With two cylinders you also have to consider the POA to the sights with the different bullet weight and power.
