I had trouble with 4227 in a reduced load cratering in 44mag.
gave away the remainder of the lb of it as it would not do what I wanted. Dirtied up and fouled it so bad I had to help turn the cylinder as I pulled on the trigger in double action. Danged thing went off and drove burned and unburned powder granules into my palm. Smarted right good. Nope, no use for 4227 here.LOL
