Thanks James. It seemed every time I had a mount done

there it was mixed up completely and just happened to be changed to the much more expensive mount, like a shoulder mount changed to the pedestal mount. This was the taxidermy shop that was somehow connected to the Y.O. Ranch.

They sure had a racket there in Texas as pretty much every animal they mounted there was taken at the Y.O. And they almost forced you to have it mounted by them. I told them I would have my taxidermist do the work but they said that was OK but they charged me almost the full price to do the preliminary work, skinning, prepping the hide and so on. And then jacked the price way up to do that. The son of the company owner was my guide and he pretty much talked all his hunters into leaving the hide at his Dad's shop.

Some of my mounts I never got back either. I picked out a couple of the Emus to be mounted full to be placed on each side of the front door but I never saw them.

The Y.O. and Celebrity Handgun Hunt was a great hunt and a great place to see old friends but the side things like the taxidermy were less than great.
