never really got the credit for his custom work. His system of a "left-hand revolver" was famous to those who knew him but he never really got that recognition before he died. Most guns are what we call a "right hand" function but they were actually a left hand operation. You function the gun in your left hand but then reload by opening the loading gate on the right side and reload with the gun in your left hand. Bill's design was just the opposite by holding the gun in your right hand and doing the reloading with your left hand. It is a whole lot easier showing a person than trying to type the functions and get it right.

Bill was more famous for his #5 revolver. Here is the original that every custom gun maker in the world has tried to copy.

Anyway, Bill designed that. After he died the family decided to get the semi finished guns to us so we could finish them for the customers.
One of our copies of Bill's #5..
