and since it is a home-made one, been having problems finding a replacement. My son-in-law thinks he has located one.

But, I got most of the wood cut to lengths and I take my time splitting it. I ain't as good as I once was ... and when it comes to splitting wood and a few other things I ain't even good as I was once!

Most of this wood splits easy. A couple whacks and it pops apart. The harder stuff I set aside and use the chain saw to cut it into smaller pieces. :-)
