About 25 years ago I built a very special #5

We got Ruger's OK to build an exact copy of their old model revolver. It was to be a one of a kind gun and our version of the Keith #5 revolver. Recently I found a picture of that gun. This is that picture.

After finding that picture I decided to build another gun. For all practical purposes it would be an exact copy of my original #5 of 25 years ago. The only difference is the barrel length. My original #5 had an 8" barrel. This new gun has a 6" octagonal barrel. The gun is built on our own frame and is fully engraved. It has a special Belt Mountain base pin made especially for this revolver. It has the interchangeable blade front sight with the gold bead blade. The ejector rod housing is fully engraved and the ejector rod is fire blued. It has ivory Corian grips on the #5 gripframe. The small parts including the hammer and trigger are also fire blued. The gun has had the Positive Performance Package. This beauty is highly polished stainless steel and has had many hours of polishing and engraving. Giving credit to Elmer Keith the serial number on this very special revolver is K5-001

With all the special features this gun has plus being one of only 2 in existence it should be priced around $4500. I have it priced at $3795.
