in every test whether the base cartridge being a 22 Short, or a 22 Long Rifle, the results have been the same. The Flattop Tool gives the energy transferring of either cartridge, even in the 22 Short, almost the same results that you get from a factory 22 Magnum. It was slightly less than the factory 22 Magnum but very close.
In our ads I decided not to tell people that after going thru our Flattop Tool the 22 Short gave almost the same results as a 22 Magnum, even if it was true. In fact we built several Flattop Tools in 22 Short but had a hard time convincing people that our Flattop Tool would turn that 22 Short into almost a 22 Magnum. So I quit mentioning it in our ads.
