[image][image]I got a call yesterday from Mark asking if I was up for some shooting. I loaded up the XP100 in .221 and the 300 GNR later in the afternoon and headed for Othello. Mark's got places here and there, found no doubt by an Ag Tractor or some semblance of that! We arrived in an area I've known for years with the exception of the rock chuck colonies. I finally blooded both the 300 and the Fireball. I shot a total of 6 chucks, and it took 17 rounds to accomplish that. The 300 claimed 2 with 4 shots, the .221 claimed 4 w/ 11 shots and 2 rounds were fired from Mark's 7mm GNR w/no hits. As the pics show both rounds were devastating on the little guys. The 300 was loaded with cast hollow points that Mark had cast and the Fireball had 45 grain Hornady soft points.[image]
