I think that is a reason for the popularity of the .327 Federal. Although I find the blast as bad as a .357. But it shoots .32 Federal and .32 Longs as well.

I started with the .44 Mag. and suffered years for it. Finally finding I shot the .357 and .44 Special so much better. Then I taught myself to shoot it all reasonably well. Today I find most of my shooting is best done under 1200 fps with about any weight of projectile. Bullet placement is still paramount. Keith, love or hate him, did have a point, born out of experience and observation.

A gun fancier, handgunner in particular, needs a good .44 around. I started with a Super Blackhawk and keep one, although highly personalized, around for sentimental and plain fun enjoyment. A man could sure do worse.
