Grew up trying to wear out my Dad's 10/22Lr. He later bought me one of my own. Me earlier, My Bride and I later tried to wear that one out. Wanted a Magnum from the get go. Heard that Ruger dropped them because of frame cracking. Was and still am today highly disappointed with Ruger for not fixing the problem and continue making them. Also very disappointed in the lack of production of the No. 1. My collection is 75% Ruger. I have always been a fan of their firearms. It is sad that the profit is in plastic guns.
