I bought my G30s to replace the wonderful little Star PD. The soulless G gun holds 10 .45 ACP and was as thin through the slide as a 9mm. I like the tapering muzzle as well. Some LA detectives were mixing parts, making their own Frankenstein rigs. The factory got wind of it and started producing them.
It’s just a tool, a reliable tool. You’d think it was small, it feels compact. But in reality it’s the same size as a G19/23. Oh well. Pick your caliber and go.
The .45 is really soft shooting.
