Than a 30s. Of course the bottom of the 30s is the same as the 30 and 29, it just has a “36” width slide on it. I never handled a 36 6-shot .45 Glock. But I carry a Kahr PM45 (6-shot) a bunch, along with a P40 Covert as well (7-shot).

My wife has a wonderful SIG 365X. It holds 12 with the short mag. and may be the perfect compromise. I CAN hit with it as well. Anything much smaller and I have trouble. The only exception is my teeny Astra 200 in .25 ACP. It shoots phenomenally, but to what end?! lol

Both of these would have been totally off the chain, exotica, back in the 1980’s! But there IS a point of diminishing usefulness when sights or controllability become compromised for size. Back in the day custom ‘Smiths chopped full size guns and IF reliability could be maintained, they were good to work with. I just never could afford any back then. Saw them at shows.
