Lube still in the grooves. I’ve never really understood the literal dynamics. I know what is theorized! Personally a fully coated bullet is the only sure thing to me. But sometimes I stop wondering, and just go with it.

I do have a collection of varied bullet lubes, pure beeswax, carnuba, blends, home brews. Some advertised for pistol and some extra hard for over 2,000 fps. I’m still learning. I can make quite the mess with my heated base Lyman 450!
