I have similar memories with those same yellow box 22’s. My journey started with a Marlin 60. Who knows how many rounds went thru that gun. My grandfather gifted me a Ward’s 16 gauge and I still have the gun and a few purple federal shells for it. Wouldn’t trade those youth experiences for anything in today’s world…no regrets.
