Before my surgery certainly. My 1978 Triumph T140, with Amal MKII carbs no less, booted off on the second kick! The burbling exhaust was punctuated by my loud primal hoots and man grunting. Probably a good thing I don’t have close neighbors. But it was a sweet moment. If you know, you know.
Like that impossible first shot, connecting perfectly, time to just zip back up and head home from the range. Things cannot get any better.
