"Smallbores" I did a simple test of firing three different bullets and meplats into a consistent waxy test medium (Zote - soap). Velocity was identical from the same .255 Banshee revolver platform and loading.
You can tell a difference in that flat tip performance. Middle bullet is a factory SPEER 75 gr. JFP, the others are cast bullets.
