I never fell in love with the lever action “handgun” called the Mare’s leg by some after the legendary Steve McQueen weapon. Others have named it the Ranch Hand. But I do like the idea of a SBR lever action. With the tax for SBR now gone a person could source a rifle stock to replace the rear grip on the Mare’s leg (while following through with the still in tact FFL laws of course) and have a fairly simple conversion! It would be a handy piece for sure.
