would be to source a used TC barrel and re-chamber. The 6.5 and 7mm TCU were good calibers but short on HP. Reworking one of those to one of Gary's on the .30-30 case would be worth the effort.
Anything in .357 or .35 caliber too. Gary has a .358 on the .30-30 and a .358 on the .405 Win. as well. Lot of fun to play with.
The TC .30-30 was a real disappointment in real performance. As long as you stayed away from a chronograph you thought you were really doing good. The 150 gr. usually was only running about 1800 fps. The .30 GNR round, which is blown out and improved, will do 2400 fps from a handgun length barrel coasting, AND still shoot factory .30-30. Win-win.
