[image]the "Handgun Hunting" book he and Nonte put out. Still a good book. So that was taken a bit before then. I have this pic I found which I think was round 1974 at the peak of the start of the Auto Mags and their promotion.

The American Outstanding Handgunners Awards started in 1973 which I think that is the picture I first published. JD was starting to publish some articles back then. JD got the award much later in 1983. It was halted in 1999, said too many in the industry not to snub anyone. Just what I read.

I'm certain it's Lee as that was in another article about early Super-vel beginnings.
