I found a S&W Model 22 Thunder Ranch in .45acp that scratches that itch. Moon clips are cool, and heavy loads with Auto Rim brass make it easy to identify ass-kicking, hunting loads vs. plinking loads. I had to do some modifications to eliminate light strikes, file down the front sight to make it shoot to aiming point, but it is pretty cool. now I just need to install the Hillary hole delete kit to complete it.
