.22-250 from the early 1960's (we think). It was on a 1903 Springfield action if I remember. It had a external adjustment old school long 24X or 36X scope on it. It weighed a ton and shot well. Every time I shot it there was a "tink" as the scope eyepiece bounced off my eyeglasses lens. The eye relief was about 3/4 of an inch. I couldn't hold it off. Not really bad but BANG-tink!
