The Unertl scope was the best varmint scope

Back in the early 60s and on thru the early 70s I did a lot of groundhog hunting with a 22-250 with a Unertl scope. Back then if you wanted a good varmint scope you went for the Unertl scope. The adjustment knobs were up on top of the scope. The crosshairs were not the best but they worked perfectly for our varmint hunting. The scopes were brass and were almost the length of the gun itself. They went from 16X on up thru the mid 30X.
