Gun raise to $750. De-value of the dollar plays a part but people are still buying and selling. Ruger’s move reminds me of Harley hiring a DEI CEO and sinking millions and millions into an electric thing no one wanted nor ever worked. The company is in true peril.
I heard rumors Beretta on the board was going to destroy Ruger. Maybe the are. But going to gunshows, us old dogs are becoming a minority. Not much interest in lever or wheel guns, historic pieces. Not like it used to be. Muscle cars and cool vintage motorcycles too have dropped terribly in price. I can’t think of a new car or motorcycle I’d actually spend money on currently. Guns are following suit. Only the used market interests me.
