There is a bigger jump in the .25 bore from single shot 10" to 7.5" revolver, more so than say a .429. But you can't make it a cannon anyway. It's fast than a .22 WMR easily with twice the bullet.
The 80 gr. FNGC is my favorite bullet but the Speer 75 gr. JSP is a close second when I can find it. Like GNR said the more weight the more efficient the burn. I have a mould for the 65 gr. Lyman FNGC and the late 60 gr. Jackrabbit mould, but have not made the latter yet.
My .22 WMR SA will launch a 40 gr. at 1375 fps, the .255 Banshee will beat that easily with a 80 gr. from my 7.5". Many loads about 1600 fps. From a 10" TC it's closer to 2,000 fps.

- The .255 Banshee does that easily, about same powder charge. - WB, 2017-02-04, 20:06
